Reactint colorants are Milliken’s proprietary reactive polymeric color solutions designed specifically for polyurethane and other thermoset resin applications. Unlike traditional pigment pastes, Reactint colorants are 100% homogeneous, polyol‑soluble liquids that will not settle, separate, or cause defects such as voids or streaking. During curing, Reactint colorants chemically react into the polyurethane polymer network, forming a fully integrated, non‑extractable color matrix. This enables deep and bright shades and high color strength at low loadings. Manufacturers benefit from reduced inventory, easy pumping and metering, faster color changeovers, and improved equipment life due to the non‑abrasive composition.
